• Recommended curriculum: A no-guesswork curriculum provides an overview of the basics new board members need to be effective in their role right away.
• In-depth workshops: Practical, hands-on training that focuses on knowledge and skills new board members need most.
• Flexibility: Trustees can attend TASB ISD workshops at the TASA/TASB Convention, Summer Leadership Institutes, and  Winter Governance and Legal Seminar. Districts also can host TASB ISD workshops locally.
• Networking: TASB ISD connects new trustees to other board members to expand the learning opportunities. Participatory workshop activities help participants get to know other board members from school districts all over Texas.
