Absolutely, I am better prepared to be a community leader. I feel LTASB has taught me that perhaps the best thing I can do is to advocate for education in general. It has challenges me to put myself out there to become a voice for education.

I have learned that no matter how bleak things appear, we can still provide a quality education for every student. I also acknowledge communities may have to make a paradigm shift regarding our perspective on the educational system. Thanks to LTASB I have acquired some of the necessary tools to move forward with this monumental task. Our journey has only just begun.
