Conducting Internal Investigations

HR leaders are often called upon to respond to complaints and allegations about potential employee misconduct.  It is the HR leader’s responsibility to thoroughly investigate and respond appropriately while protecting confidentiality and the well-being of all parties involved.  This balancing act requires sensitivity, skills, and a well-planned investigative process. This webinar, presented by two experienced HR leaders, will discuss what steps to take before, during, and after the investigation. Discussion topics will include conducting interviews, tape recording and documentation, working with attorneys and law enforcement, and how to conclude the investigation.
