October 12 is Texas Education Human Resources Day, a day to honor and recognize the important contributions of human resources personnel to make our public schools successful. We in TASB HR Services thank you for your efforts to make our public schools a great place to work and for the care and support you provide every day for our school district employees. It is our honor and privilege to support you in the important work that you do.
The post-legislative update to the HR Library will be available on line early this month. Our program contacts will be notified of its posting by email. It includes plenty of changes related to contract administration. New TASB model contracts will be developed by TASB attorneys and are expected to be available in early 2012. TASB Policy Service is updating the DF policy series on contract terminations with new notice exhibits. The series is scheduled for release in November.
