Krause brought health care and banking experience with her upon joining TASB's Facilities and Financial Services Division in 1987. Krause is a certified Texas Association of School Business Officials instructor. She has been with Field Services since 1988, serving various areas of the state from East Texas to the Concho Valley.

A Stephenville resident, Krause earned her bachelor's degree in business from Tarleton State University.
