Direct Energy

In 2005, Direct Energy  was selected through a competitive solicitation process to provide retail electric provider (REP) services for program members, including billing, payment, account switching, and general customer service. TASB bundles all the electric usage and issues in a single aggregated proposal. Direct Energy, with oversight by TASB, also competitively solicits the wholesale marketplace for the electric commodity on behalf of the members.

Direct Energy is part of the Centrica PLC group of companies and a world leader in energy services with more than 33 million customers worldwide.

TASB works with Direct Energy to act quickly to lock in natural gas costs over the coming months. This will ensure a fixed electricity price over the length of your contract before you actually receive and pay for the electricity. If your entity participates in the TASB Aggregation Pool, you will not need to independently procure electricity for your entity.
