Leadership Team Services (LTS)
TASB's Leadership Team Services (LTS) is committed to enhancing the effectiveness of leadership teams through training, publications, planning and consulting and facilitation services created specifically for school boards.
Planning and Consulting Services
LTS offers in-district planning and consulting services that can be designed to meet each district's specific needs:
- Assessing a District's Planning Readiness
- District Goal Setting
- Superintendent Performance Goals
- District Strategic Planning
Additional planning components are available that build on the value of basic strategic planning, provide further district guidance, and assist with plan implementation.
Free Phone Consultation
Our consultants have years of experience working with and/or serving on school boards. Districts can receive advice on effective practices for conducting board business or get help working through a problem. When a visit over the phone is not enough, additional support is available on a fee basis.
Facilitation Services
Experienced facilitators are available to assist groups composed of board members, district employees, and community members in exploring issues such as bond elections, changing attendance zones, and consolidation.
Training and Events
A major focus of LTS is to provide invaluable training so that board members and superintendents are working at their best. Training opportunities include in-district training, team-building sessions, Leadership TASB, TASB ISD, and the Online Learning Center. LTS also coordinates the TASB/TASA Annual Convention, Summer Leadership Institute, and other conferences and seminars to help trustees get the information and training they need.
