Legislative/Governmental Events
Governmental Relations staff hosts several events that follow the legislative cycle.
All board members are invited to participate in the Grassroots seminars, which form the basis of TASB's Advocacy Agenda. The informative Pre-Legislative and Post-Legislative Seminars serve to let trustees know what to expect ahead of time and what the Legislature's decisions mean after the fact. And the Capitol Conference, scheduled during the session, gives trustees a chance to meet Texas legislators and discuss the issues that matter.
