Call for Resolutions Now Open 

TASB is now accepting resolutions for inclusion in the 2012-2014 Advocacy Agenda. The current agenda will be expiring this year, so it is important that districts submit their resolutions before the July 2 deadline. All resolutions must be submitted using this form (doc). Meyersville ISD Hires New Superintendent

Tina HerringtonOn May 15, the Meyersville ISD Board of Trustees named Tina Herrington as the district's new superintendent. Herrington recently served as secondary principal in Schulenburg ISD. She began her career as a teacher in Weimar ISD and later served as an assistant superintendent in both Sealy and Goliad ISDs.

Herrington reports to the district June 4.
