(Austin) – Three school districts ended up with an extra benefit at the close of the recent TASB Risk Management Fund Members’ Conference in Austin. For more than 10 years, drawings have been held at the conference’s conclusion for coverage credits of $1,000, $3,000, and $5,000. Fund members can use these renewal coverage credits to apply to their coverage cost for the following year.
Accepting the coverage credits this year were the following:
- Robbie Sanford, Paint Rock ISD – $1,000 recipient
- Marisa Cuevas, Santa Rosa ISD – $3,000 recipient
- Lacey Nelms, Garner ISD – $5,000 recipient
The annual conference, held at no cost to Fund members, features a broad range of training sessions and networking opportunities. It also spotlights Fund members demonstrating innovative practices and implementing training, loss prevention, and other risk management initiatives.
