Woodul Reelected to Statewide Association Board

(Austin) – The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) has reelected Lida Woodul of Cypress-Fairbanks ISD to a three-year term on the TASB Board of Directors, representing TASB Region 4F.

Woodul has served on the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD (CFISD) Board since 1999, with two terms each as president and vice-president.

An office manager for a therapist in private practice, she attended Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas at Arlington, and ran a computer design company for 24 years. Woodul has served her community as chair and vice-chair for the CFISD VIPS Executive Board and has been a director for the Rolling Fork PUD (Water Board) for 11 years.

TASB is a nonprofit organization established in 1949 to serve local Texas school districts. School board members are the largest group of publicly elected officials in the state. The districts they represent serve more than 4.7 million public school students.
