Hartt Reappointed to Statewide Association Board

(AUSTIN) – The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) has reappointed Dee Hartt of Tatum ISD to the TASB Risk Management Fund board of trustees.
Hartt was appointed to the Risk Management Fund Board in November 2005. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Lamar University, and later received his doctorate in education at the University of Houston. He currently serves his community as a member of the Texas School Coalition and Texas Association of Community Schools Executive Committee. Hartt also is a member of many Tatum community organizations such as the Lions Club, Education Foundation, Economic Development Board, United Way, and he serves as Pastor Parish Relations board chair of the United Methodist Church.
The TASB Risk Management Fund is the largest provider of risk management coverage in the state of Texas. With over 1,100 members, the Fund provides coverage through its unemployment compensation, workers’ compensation, and property/casualty programs. Services range from loss prevention and free member training events to online resources.
